Read it first

About information resources

Internet offers excellent documentation you can access easily, for free. To take advantage of it, only two steps are neccessary:
  1. Find it.
  2. Read it.
Understanding comes its own way.

Read. Think. Read again and act. Don't hurry up, it won't speed up anything.

If you got stuck

If you were lucky, you find somebody willing to answer questions. But it never, ever substitute two steps mentioned above. Some issues are too complicated to be reliably explained or even described in a short way.

Also, you may need to learn "HowTo-Ask-Questions" first. Use this quoted phrase in your favourite search engine and give up few minutes revieving results. The rule of thumb for tech-related chats follows:

Don't ask to ask (if you can ask). Just ask, describing your problem concisely.
